I am new to Amaze

Amaze Mobility is an app that helps you make using shared transport and ov in and around the city easy. With Amaze Mobility you can find, use and pay for shared transport and public transport when you need it. Without OV-chipkaart and without using other apps. We make travelling by shared transport and public transport easy and at the same time you improve the quality of life in our cities. We are working hard to make our app even better. We would like to hear from you, the user, what we can improve and add. Please let us know via the feedback link in the app or via info@amazemobility.nl. Rurge you to join us for the next destination?

Very easy. As soon as you need transportation, you can see in the app what is offered in your area. On the map you can see all the transportation you can use to get to your destination.

Have you chosen your transport option and do you need a ticket for it? Then you buy it directly in the app. This e-ticket is your ticket, with which you can travel directly from your smartphone. Would you like to use a shared car or bicycle? Then reserve, pay for and open it using the app. Don't forget to verify your driver's license beforehand, this only takes a few minutes. To do this you take a picture of the front and back of your license and a selfie. Super easy!

A credit card validation is required to travel with partial transportation. Enter your information and accept the reservation in your credit card app.

With Amaze Mobility you can use different types of transportation in the Netherlands such as train, metro, streetcar, bus , shared car, shared bike and ferry. Here you will find our complete offer.

To book, pay and travel, you need an account. Enter your profile data: name, address, date of birth and e-mail address. We ask this of you because train tickets are personal. The ticket is therefore only valid in combination with an identity document. Your first and last name on the ticket must therefore also be the same as those on your proof of identity. Read more about this in the e-ticket conditions of the relevant carrier.

If you want to use a shared car or bike, uploading your driver's license is required. This can be done easily with three photos within your profile. You will receive an email as soon as your license is validated. Because it takes time to verify your driver's license, it is convenient to do this immediately while creating your account. You need to take a picture of the front and back of your license and a selfie, super easy!

A credit card validation is required to travel with an Amber shared car. Enter your information and accept the reservation in your credit card app.

How does Amaze work?

When you open Amaze Mobility you will see a map. On this map you see a dot where you are and all the available transportation around you. The different icons show which mode of transport it is. You can filter the different transport options by clicking on the icons. Below the icons is the list of the different options. For example, if you want to buy a bus ticket, click on the desired option and you can use confirm your purchase to purchase an e-ticket. If you click on a shared car, you will be given the option to reserve the car.

Is your desired transportation option not among them? Rest assured, we are working hard to improve the app and expanding mobility providers is at the top of our list.

You can always find your tickets under the Bookings tab after you purchase them. You can see your future tickets by selecting Upcoming and you can see a summary of your transaction history by selecting Transactions.

How do you use an e-ticket on your phone?

Because there are many different carriers in the app, there are different ways to travel with an e-ticket and this can vary from carrier to carrier. If the ticket has a barcode, it usually has to be scanned under a barcode scanner on the bus or streetcar. If you take the train, you just need to scan the barcode at the gates at the station. If there are no gates at the station, you do not need to check in or out. It suffices to show your e-ticket on your phone to the conductor when he checks. You cannot scan a ticket without a barcode, but with a moving image. Show this ticket to the driver of the bus or streetcar when entering.

How do you cancel a booking?

A public transport ticket cannot be cancelled. However, did you miss your bus? No problem. Depending on the carrier, you can use the ticket for a longer period. You can find the end time on the ticket on your screen. You can cancel an Amber booking in the app. No fee will be charged.

Under Transactions in the Bookings overview you can create an expense report for the period you choose. You can categorize your trips as business, commuting or private. This way you get exactly the overview you need. You can share this as a PDF or Excel file (via e-mail, Whatapp etc.).

Mobility Budget

A mobility budget is an amount of money that employers make available to their employees. Employees can use this amount at their own discretion to travel to work or business appointments. As an employee, you can choose which transport you want to use your mobility budget for - public transport, cab, shared bicycle or car.

The Amaze Mobility app takes care of the mobility budget in one app, without any cumbersome tickets, declarations, subscriptions or receipts.

Together with your employer, your mobility needs are examined. Then the discussed mobility budget is set up in the app. You will receive an e-mail from Amaze containing two buttons. With the first button you download the app to your phone. With the second button you open the app and you can use the mobility budget. On the mobility budget page in the app, you can immediately see the total available budget and the amount left for travel. This way you have 24/7 insight into your budget, the trips you have made, the costs and reimbursements.

You will receive an email from Amaze Mobility, which will allow you to download the Amaze app and activate your mobility budget.

Through your business email address you log in, into the Amaze Mobility app. The mobility budget is linked to this email address. If you have created an account and/or logged in with a different email address, you will not find the mobility budget and your expenses, incurred while traveling, will not be paid from the budget.

Adding a driver's license, in the Amaze Mobility app, is mandatory if you use shared mobility. For example, if you book and use an Amber shared car, it is of course necessary that you have a valid driver's license.

Some shared transport providers make use of your telephone number, for example in case of emergencies. Also, if for any reason you cannot open, close or end your shared transport ride, a carrier can contact you by phone to help you further. Your number will not be shared with third parties. You can find more information about this in our privacy statement.

If you received the mobility budget through your employer, you travel with the Amaze Mobility app, automatically from this budget. To make a private trip via Amaze, you select a different payment method in the payment step, under payment method. For example, you can choose to pay via iDeal or credit card. If you change your payment method, your trip will no longer be paid from the mobility budget.

Through the mobility budget email, you can easily open and use the Amaze Mobility app. This way you can immediately, after opening the app, find all the shared transportation in your area. As soon as you book your first trip, you log in using your business email address. This is filled in automatically. After pressing the button "Send verification code" you will receive an email. In this email you then press the "Verify Now" button. You will automatically go back to the app and you are logged in. Please note that after a few minutes the verification login link will expire. But don't worry. Go through the above steps again and you're good-to-go!

In the Amaze Mobility app, from the menu, click on the "More" button. At the top of the "More" page, you will find an entry to your "Profile" and your personal information. If you are using the mobility budget, you cannot change your business email address on the profile page. Under zip code and house number you will find the data of your employer by default.

In the Amaze Mobility app, from the menu, click on the "More" button. At the bottom of the "More" page, you will find the entrance to our customer service. You can call us and/or send us an email.

Amaze Mobility works hard to add as many shared transport providers as possible in the app. So keep a close eye on the Amaze Mobility app, because you will regularly find a new shared transport provider on the map.

As soon as you book and pay for your trip, you can open and use your ticket directly via a button called "Show ticket". If you do not need your ticket right away, for example if the start date of your journey is in the future, you can always find your ticket in the menu, under the button "My Trips". Here you will find all your active, future and expired tickets.

If you want to know how much mobility budget you have and/or have used in total, open "My budget" via the menu. Here you will also find the trips you have made and paid for with your mobility budget.

A mobility budget starts on the first of the month and ends automatically on the last day of the month. The budget that has not been used at the end of the month, automatically disappears from the Amaze Mobility app. On the 1st of the new month, there will be a new budget ready for you. Just as easy!

Unfortunately, at this time it is not yet possible to pay for Felyx, Check and Tier's shared scooters with a mobility budget. We are working hard to make this possible for you in the near future.

If you travel and pay with a mobility budget, you will find your journeys made and booked in the menu, under the button "My budget". The trips and transactions, which you have made privately (and therefore have not paid with your mobility budget) are in the menu, under the button "My trips".
